Tortillas With Chili Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoonscooking oil
  • 1 lbground round
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions(I prefer red onion)
  • 1 clove of minced garlic, to taste
  • 1 cup chopped olives (I use a 4 oz can)
  • 1/2 cup dark raisins, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12hot tortillas
  • shredded cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil.
  3. Cook ground round, onion and garlic until meat begins to brown.
  4. Add olives, tomatoes and raisins.
  5. Stir to combine ingredients.
  6. Add vinegar, chili powder, cinnamon, cloves, salt and sugar.
  7. Stir again and bring to a boil.
  8. Simmer for 20 minutes on reduced heat.
  9. Spread on tortillas.
  10. Roll up and place in a greased baking dish.
  11. Top with shredded cheddar and bake for about 20 minutes, or until warm through.
  12. Great served with spanish rice on the side.
