INGREDIENTS
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 cupapple juice
DIRECTIONS
- In small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and allspice; mix well.
- Stir in apple juice.
- Cook over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil and thickens, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat; set aside.
- Serve warm.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped
- 12 fluid ouncesmango juice
- 1 mango, diced
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Simmer pecans in mango juice for approximately 15 minutes.
- Add mango fruit, nutmeg and maple syrup and simmer for another 10 minutes until fruit is soft and sauce thickens.
- Serve warm over pancakes or french toast.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
DIRECTIONS
- Mix cocoa and water in saucepan, stir to disolve cocoa, heat to blend the cocoa and water.
- Add sugar, stir to disolve.
- Boil for 3 minutes.
- Add salt and vanilla.
- Pour into pint jar.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup Karo light corn syrup
- 1/2 cuporange juice
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
- In skillet over medium heat, cook chicken in butter about 20-30 minute or until tender.
- Drain off fat, if desired.
- Mix Karo corn syrup, orange juice, and lemon juice and pour over chicken in skillet.
- Continue cooking over medium heat, turning often, for about 5-10 minute or until glazed.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup ginger, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 grapefruit, zest of
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, mixed with
- 1 tablespoon water
DIRECTIONS
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar, water, ginger and juice and zest of lemon and grapefruit.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
- Remove any scum (bubbles) that float to the surface.
- Add cornstarch mix and stir for about 1 minute until thickened.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Transfer to a covered glass jar and refrigerate.
- This will keep for about a month in the fridge.
- When someone in your family gets the flu or the chills, put 2 Tablespoons in a mug with hot water, stir.
- Let them drink this slowly and follow up with either Tylenol or Asprin.
- They will be better in no time.
