INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups walnutsor almondsor pecans(or a combination, your choice)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- Combine nuts, water and sugar in a microwave safe dish.
- Microwave uncovered 3 minutes on high.
- Stir to coat all the nuts.
- Let cool slightly (+/-3minutes).
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and cinnamon.
- Stir lightly.
- Spread on waxed paper and let cool completely.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoonscajun seasoning
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/3 lb whole pecans
- 1/3 lb whole almonds
- 1/3 lb whole cashews
- 3 dried pineapple rings , cut into 1 inch pieces
- salt
- sugar
DIRECTIONS
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, melt the butter.
- Add the cayenne, Cajun seasoniing, cumin, and sugar and stir until the butter begins to foam.
- Immediately add the nuts, stirring or tossing constantly for about 3 minutes, or until the nuts are well toasted and lightly coloured.
- Pour the nuts onto a wire rack, placed over a baking sheet.
- Let cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the nuts to a mixing bowl and toss them with the dried pineapple.
- Season to taste with salt and sugar.
- Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cupPost Grape-Nuts cereal
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl; stir in bananas, yogurt and vanilla.
- Add to flour mixture; stirring until just moistened (batter will be lumpy; do not overmix!).
- Stir in cereal.
- Spoon batter into a 12-cup muffin tin that has been sprayed with cooking spray, filling each cup 2/3 full.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
- NOTE: Muffins can be frozen for up to 6 months.
- Just thaw at room temperature and reheat until warm.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cupgrape-Nuts cereal
- 1 1/2 cups skim milk
- 1/2 cup natural wheat bran , toasted
- 1/2 cupbran buds or bran buds , of choice
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup chunky applesauce
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons melted margarine
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl, combine first four ingredients.
- In another bowl, pour in milk and cereal and let set 3 minutes.
- Stir in the egg, applesauce, sugar and margarine.
- Add to flour mixture and stir in the Bran and Maple Pecan Crunch cereal.
- Spoon batter into greased muffin cups.
- Bake 20 minutes at 400.

INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 lb party mix unsalted nuts (an 11.75 ounce can works well)
- 1 egg white
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Toss nuts in egg white.
- Combine the seasonings and sprinkle over the nuts in a greased or non-stick baking sheet.
- (Alternatively, you can combine the seasonings with the egg white and coat the nuts that way).
- Bake in a 300 degree oven for 25 minutes.
