Layered Holiday Jello Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (6ounce)packagecranberry Jell-O gelatin or cherry gelatin
  • 1 (16ounce)can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 (6ounce)package lime Jell-O gelatin
  • 1 (20ounce)can crushed pineapple, undrained, divided
  • 1 cup sour cream(8oz container)
  • 1 (8ounce)package cream cheese
  • 2 cups boiling water, divided

DIRECTIONS

  1. Dissolve red jello in 1 cup boiling water and stir in half the can of pineapple and all of the can of whole berry cranberry sauce.
  2. Spread in bottom of 9×13 glass dish and chill until partially set.
  3. Combine sour cream and cream cheese and spread over red jello layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, dissolve green jello in 1 cup boiling water and stir in the remaining half can of pineapple; chill until partially set.
  5. Spread over the top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or several hours until completely set.

Cranberry Jello Plus Relish

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 1/2 cupsfresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 (85g)packagecranberry Jell-O gelatin
  • 1 cup finely chopped mixed dried fruit (apricots, raisins ,dried cranberries)
  • 1 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix the juice, cinnamon and cloves in a saucepan and bring to a boil-medium-high heat.
  2. Have dry jello powder in a bowl and add boiling juice,stir at least 2 minutes until the jello is completely dissolved.
  3. Refrigerate apprx 1 1/2 hours or until thickened (when you draw a spoon through it it will leave an impression).
  4. Stir in the fruit, nuts.
  5. and orange peel (if you are using it).
  6. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  7. Serve as a condiment or dessert topping.

Easy Jello Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 (3 1/2ounce)boxesorange Jell-O
  • 1 (16ounce)container Cool Whip(or more, depending on how creamy you want it)
  • 1/2-1 cup sour cream, to taste
  • mandarin oranges, for garnish,on top

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix Cool Whip, Jello powder and sour cream until Jello powder dissolves.
  2. Spread in a serving dish and top with fruit.
  3. Can be served immediately or chilled until serving.

Jello Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 (3ounce)packages jello gelatin powder, any flavor
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 2 cups strawberriesor blueberriesor raspberriesor fruit

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour gelatin into bowl.
  2. Add 2 1/2 cups boiling water to gelatin.
  3. Stir, until gelatin is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  4. Spray pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Pour gelatin mixture into pizza pan.
  6. Put pan into refrigerator to chill until firm, about 3 hours.
  7. Remove pan from refrigerator when ready to serve.
  8. Put about 1 inch of warm water in sink.
  9. Carefully dip just bottom of pan into warm water for 15 seconds.
  10. Spread whipped topping over gelatin just before serving, leaving about 1 inch of space around outside edge of gelatin for pizza”crust”.
  11. Top pizza with fruit, arranging fruit in whatever design you like.
  12. Cut pizza into wedges.

Mimosa Jello Shots

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 (3ounce)boxesorange Jell-O
  • 6 (1/4ounce)boxes knox unflavored gelatin
  • 3 cupsorange juice
  • 3 cupschampagne

DIRECTIONS

  1. Boil 6 cups of water.
  2. Combine Jello and Knox packets together.
  3. Add to boiling water.
  4. Stir until dissolved.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add three cups of orange juice and 3 cups of champagne.
  7. Stir until mixed completely.
  8. Pour into 9×12-inch pan.
  9. Refrigerate overnight.
  10. Cut into 1×1-inch cubes.
  11. Serve in clear bowl.
