Cobb Loaf Cheese Dip

INGREDIENTS

    Combine
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 300 ml light sour cream
  • 250 g grated tasty cheese
  • 3-5 slices baconor ham(diced)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slice the top off a cobb (round) loaf, gently pull out centre.
  2. Cut these into finger size pieces.
  3. Pour filling into bread shell, place on baking tray put on piece you sliced off on the top of loaf, place bread strips around the base.
  4. Bake slowly (100-150º) til heated through& crispy for 1 hours.
  5. Serve with bread fingers or crisp vegetables.
  6. ENJOY!

Ranch Chicken Cheese Ball W/Pecans

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (5ounce)can chunk chicken, drained
  • 1 (1/2ounce)packageranch dressing mix
  • 2 (8ounce)packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped & toasted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine chicken, salad dressing mix& cream cheese in a mixing bowl, beat at medium speed with an electric mixer just until blended.
  2. Shape into a bowl& roll in pecans.
  3. Cover& chill.
  4. Serve with crackers.

Manicotti With Ham and Cheese Stuffing

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chopped cooked ham
  • 150 g chopped frozen broccoli
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • 8 manicotti
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Saute onion in margerine until tender.
  2. Add ham, drained brocholi and 1/2 of cheese.
  3. Cook manicotti until tender.
  4. Rinse.
  5. Stuff manicotti with ham mixture.
  6. Melt margerine in saucepan.
  7. Add flour, cook and stir one minute.
  8. Add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Add remaining cheese and stir til smooth.
  11. Spread 1/2 c cheese, sauce over bottom of a baking dish and arrange stuffed manicotti over sauce and pour remaining sauce over top that.
  12. Sprinkle with parmasan cheese, if desired.
  13. Bake 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
  14. 4 servings of 2 manicotties each.

Hamburger Pepper Cheese Hotdish

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 ouncesegg noodles , cooked and drained.
  • 1 lb hamburger, browned
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce)cancream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 (4ounce)jar diced pimentos
  • 1 (16ounce)jar green olives
  • 1 (4ounce)cansliced mushrooms
  • 8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut in cubes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients together, pour in a 13 x 9 inch pan.
  2. bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Cheese and Rice Stuffed Peppers

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 medium green bell peppers
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese(4 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Slice off the tops of the peppers.
  3. Wash the peppers and remove the cores and seeds.
  4. Stand the pepper cups upright in a saucepan containing 1/2.
  5. cup boiling water.
  6. Cover tightly and allow to steam for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove and drain.
  8. In a large bowl, mix together the rice, cheese parsley, salt, and ground pepper.
  9. Divide the mixture and stuff each pepper.
  10. Stand the peppers in a loaf pan or cupcake tins.
  11. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the filling is hot and the cheese melts.
