INGREDIENTS
- 55 g plain flour
- 25 g cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 25 g butter
- 50 g golden syrup
- 1/2 egg
- 1 dash milk
- 2 drops vanilla essence
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven gas 4 or 180°C.
- Set out 9 paper bun cases.
- Sieve flour, coco powder and bicarbonate in to a bowl.
- Beat egg with milk.
- Melt the butter, sugar and syrup in a pan then pour in to flour.
- Stir in egg and milk until it is a creamy mixture.
- Spoon in to paper cases.
- Cook for 20 minutes on a middle shelf.
