Baskin Robbin’s Pie

INGREDIENTS
- CRUST
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup pecans, ground
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 (3 1/2ounce)package instant chocolate pudding mix, prepared according to package directions
- 2 cups milk(for the pudding)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
FILLING
DIRECTIONS
- For the Crust:.
- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Mix flour, margarine and pecans together and press into the bottom and up the sides of a deep dish pie pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Allow crust to cool completely.
- For the filling:.
- Mix the sugar and cream cheese together until creamy.
- Reserve 1 cup of Cool Whip and fold the rest into the cream cheese mixture.
- Put this mixture into the pie crust and top with the prepared chocolate pudding.
- Top with reserved Cool Whip and sprinkle with pecans.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or over night.
